Conformity is the death of true democracy. If one does not criticize the group they are apart of they are destroying their individual rights to think for themselves. Because if you don't think for yourself someone will think for you. People need to "independentize" themselves from the groups and culture they establish themselves in. True unity is created through individual perspectives not a collective of 1 single idea.
